There are many people who have their ideas on education. How if they had the power, they could fix all the ailments of the education system. What you will read here is my considered take on education news and issues. Often I want to write about the disconnects I come across in the system.
This is not meant to be an overtly partisan political blog. However, education is one of those big ticket election staples along with the likes of health and law and order so it is inevitable that some posts may reflect a more partisan view. On rare ocasions I may make unrelated political posts, and from time to time I do comment on political blogs.
Updated Info October 2010
I am a university graduate and in 2010 I am a freelance statistics tutor. I finished a secondary teaching diploma in May 2010, but currently have no plans to enter the teaching profession. I am now a member of Young Nationals. In the past (whilst working as a tutor) I was a not particularly active member of the AUS union, and did not seek to participate in the amalgamated TEU.
